The Kickoff

Purpose of Kickoff:  A kickoff session to review Life Capitals and define Baseline and Personalized Habits for each Life Capital.

What we’ll do:

  • Define your Talents (how you are uniquely gifted)

  • Define your Replenishment Cycle (activities you do to “fill your bucket”)

  • Define your Via Negativa: The one habit that if stop builds up each Life Capital

  • Define your Routines (morning, start/end workday, evening)

  • Commit to the Baseline Habits for each Life Capital

  • Define and Commit to the Personalized Habits for each Life Capital

  • Habit Environment Creation:  Obvious, Attractive, Easy, Satisfying.

Define your Talents:

One quick vernacular is “showing up”. It really is stewardship. You are given these strengths.  You need to steward them. You don’t want to bury your talents. Be resolved. Don’t give up your seat. We will define 5 key talents that are your superpowers.

Define your Replenishment Cycle:

Life is Integrated: Here is the deal,  if we have a deficit in one domain of life it more than likely is impacting all the others. On the flip side, we get momentum in one area of life, it gives us fuel in the other areas. It is important to know this as we think about what fuels us.

Exercise: Do a quick audit of how you are doing in these domains. Give yourself a score and write down some thoughts.  (Mental, Emotional, Relational, Physical, Spiritual) (1-10).

Mental: _______________

Emotional: : _______________

Relational: : _______________

Physical: : _______________

Spiritual: : _______________

What fills your bucket, or refuels you in any of the MERPS categories. Via Negative is the one activity, that if you cut out, it fills up your bucket across domains.

Define your Routines (morning, start/end workday, evening)
