Creating Your Replenishment Cycle

Our unique strengths are resources that we have the opportunity to steward. Now that we have our unique strengths defined, how can we ensure that we are able to apply them daily?

In order for us to be able to give our strengths to the people around us, we believe that it’s essential to replenish ourselves in four domains:

  • Physical: Care for your body (exercise, diet, hygiene)

  • Emotional: Connection to the feelings within us (reflection, contemplation)

  • Relational: Interpersonal connection with people around us (friends, family)

  • Mental: Intellectual stimulation (books, blogs, music, art, poetry, podcasts)

We believe that the domains of life are integrated. If we have a deficit in one domain of life, it more than likely is impacting all the other areas. On the flip side, when we get momentum in one area of life, it gives us fuel in the other areas. It is important to know this as we think about what fuels us.

Now that we’ve evaluated our domains, it’s essential for us to define activities that replenish us. The least selfish thing that we can do is practice the activities regularly so that we are in the best position to apply our unique strengths.

  1. What Fills My Bucket? Identify what refuels you in any of the domains and add them to the circles below. Aim to have at least three. Keep them simple!

  2. Frequency: Write how often you’d like to be doing each of these things.
